Furnace Grinding Noise
This god awful grinding noise starts when the furnace fires up and the blower comes on. Any idea what's causing this noise? Lennox Diplomat 80MGF2-75A-1

1956 Bryant Furnace Fires Up
AND NOW! IN HONOR OF EARTH DAY! USING UP HALF THE NATURAL GAS SUPPLY IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE EVERY TIME IT KICKS ON! PRESENTING.... Seriously, this furnace is the original one that came with our house; it and I are the same age. A good check and clean and lubing the fan at the beginning of each heating season and changing the filter every month in the winter has kept it running like a top. In 53 years, the only repairs it's ever needed are a gas regulator and 2 blower motors. You can have your Plus 90. I'll stick with old gray to the bitter end;)
